Fellowships

Semenjak NLBC berdiri, Family Fellowship / Persekutuan Keluarga pun berjalan. HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY.

YCF (Young Couple Fellowship) started in 2005 with the mission to provide a forum for young married couples to continually grow in Christian values, as partners in life, and as parents. It's really a tough transition from singleness to marriage-hood, so with that understanding, through the monthly home fellowship gatherings--sermon/bible studies and discussion sessions; not only are wonderful new friendships formed, couples learn to appreciate the differences in each other, and learn the importance of witnessing to others as a family for God's glory.

With the addition of young children to the family, new challenges comes up, so we offer tips/guidelines to easier Godly parenting. As these young couples mature spiritually and children become teenagers, they'll graduate and move on to the Family Fellowship Group. "Break" activities such as Daddy-Day-Out, Mommy-Day-Out (usually on different occasions so the other can babysit the children) allows moms and dads to hang out for a few hours without the worries or interruptions from their kids and spouses. We provide babysitting during our fellowships, allowing parents to fully concentrate and benefit from the discussions as well as sermons. The icing on the cake is always having GREAT potluck food before our main program begins. Come learn and grow together with our YCF ministry.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25

We NLBC-PKP are here because we want to reach out to young adults and provide them with a community in which they can serve God and His church. Our goal is to eventually experience, share with, and demonstrate the love of God to the people around us. PKP is the place where we can grow to better know and understand God and His Will. With the guidance from the church pastors we build on our Christian faith through discussing God’s word on topics of interest to us young adults and its application in our daily lives. In PKP we also learn to love and care for one another. From what we learn through our fellowships, we build friendships to support each other and share the joy and blessings of God. We also encourage each other to mature mentally and spiritually, and grow in faith.

We encourage and invite all young adults to not only attend our Friday meetings, but also to be a part of PKP fellowship ministries and eventually integrate with the NLBC ministry.

YOUTH. This word represents the multi-faceted years of adolescence and the daunting journey into adulthood. Our young children will endure transition and constant change in search of an identity and place in this world. At NLBC, we strive to help discover each child’s unique character and God-given talents, and to emphaze living a Christ-centered life.

Vitality and spirit overflow in our young children, it is so important that NLBC foster this enthusiasm and shape it into an outpouring life of worship. We hope to encourage our young children and provide oppourtunities for them to be involved in various ministries, whether it is in music, in geniuine concern for others, in helping with the Youth Service, or in serving our fellow brothers and sisters at NLBC.

Let us continue praying for our young children, and let us not look down on them in their Youthhood. With God’s grace and guidance, we at NLBC long to cultivate a place where seeds of faith are planted and rooted deeply in God’s Word. Our Youth is in the springtime of life, and we put our hope in Christ, who makes all things grow.
